Boys and Girls Club of Dane County is constantly serving its community–and this Thanksgiving is no different. The 2017 Annual Sina Davis Community Thanksgiving Dinner is free to the public and will include all the classic Thanksgiving fixings–turkey, dressing, stuffing, dessert and more. Come one, come all! Thursday, Nov. 23
If you’re looking to take your Thanksgiving up a notch this year, check out Thanksgiving at the Statehouse. The Edgewater is whipping up a four-course prix fixe menu, featuring options like warm racelette tart, potato gnocchi with wild mushrooms, pan seared scallops and, of course, roasted turkey and stuffing. But what’s thanksgiving without dessert? Wrap the night up with either pumpkin cheesecake, frozen hazelnut chocolate mousse or sticky toffee pudding. $64 ($24 for kids 12 and under), 2-7 p.m., theedgewater.com

Spending Thanksgiving as a one-man band? Or not in the mood to prepare a feast? Either way, Essen Haus Thanksgiving Dinner has you covered. You get to enjoy all the classic dishes without any of the hassle and work that comes with it. Stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, yams, cranberry sauce, mixed vegetables, assorted pies will be there, so come hungry. If it’s true that red wine helps digestion, then you’re in luck this week. Red Friday at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar is happening the day after Thanksgiving and will feature eight different wines with an assortment of fine cheese and cheese-inspired appetizers expertly paired to go alongside them. Saturday, Nov. 25
After Thanksgiving, you’ll likely have to make another trip to the wine shop for some bubbly. Before you do, check out The Art of Celebration to learn all about fizzy, boozy golden delights. Sip on different sparkling wines and learn to distinguish between differ cava, prosecco, Franciacorta and champagne.
