MPD: Man tells police he’s going to jail following crash on Madison’s east side
MADISON, Wis. — A Madison man was arrested on suspicion of his fifth-offense drunken driving following a crash on the city’s east side.
The crash happened at the intersection of Cottage Grove Rd. and Stoughton Road around 9 p.m. Friday, according to a release by the Madison Police Department.
Police said one of the drivers, Michael R. Dryden, 52, told officers he would be going to jail because he had been drinking.
Dryden was arrested on suspicion of fifth-offense drunken driving, resisting arrest and a parole violation, the release said.
