4 arrested with $3K worth of THC, officials say
Police shut down drug house after search warrant turns up drugs, paraphernalia
JANESVILLE, Wis. — Four people were arrested after a drug investigation and traffic stop turned up Ecstasy and $3,000 worth of THC in Janesville, police said.
During an investigation into drug distribution use in the 1400 block of Canyon Drive, Janesville police observed a vehicle leaving the area of 1415 Canyon Drive with two occupants, according to a release.
Officers initiated a traffic stop and a K-9 alerted police to drugs, police said. Officers found and seized THC from inside the vehicle. The two occupants were taken into custody.
Investigators continued to gather information and eventually executed a search warrant at 1415 Canyon Drive No. 15, according to the release. During execution of the search warrant, police arrested two more people and seized THC, drug paraphernalia and Ecstasy.
The total amount of THC seized from the traffic stop and the search warrant was 7.65 ounces, which carries an estimated street value of around $3,000, police said. The total amount of Ecstasy seized was 2.9 grams.
Timothy F. Gilbertson, 25, of Janesville, was arrested on tentative charges of three counts of manufacturing and delivering THC, four counts of running a drug house, possession of THC with intent to distribute, possession of Ecstasy, possession of drug paraphernalia, and four counts of felony bail jumping.
Kayla A. Newman, 25, of Janesville, was arrested on tentative charges of running a drug house, possession on THC with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jarod B. Ward, 19, of Beloit, was arrested on a tentative charge of possession of THC with the intent to distribute.
Liana J. Moore, 18, of Janesville, was arrested on tentative charges of possession of THC with the intent to distribute and running a drug vehicle.
