4 arrested in home burglary investigation
Four people arrested as part of a home burglary investigation might be connected to a rash of home burglaries in rural Dane County, according to a release from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives said Drew J. Keenan, 21, and Mackenzie D. Frydenlund, 20, both of Sauk City, were responsible for a Thursday burglary in the town of Dane. Ashley N Moen, 24, and Jordan D. Seiler, 25, both of Portage, were responsible for a Jan. 13 burglary in the town of Dane, according to the release.
All four were arrested on suspicion of burglary and additional charges are pending.
Deputies said the four forced entry into locked homes and stole valuables, including jewelry, precious coins, electronics, cash and firearms.
Earlier this month the Sheriff’s Office started an investigation into several burglaries to rural homes.
Deputies responded to three burglaries the night of Jan. 14 and one the night of Jan. 13.
All of the burglaries occurred in the towns of Dane, Middleton, Cross Plains and Oregon in western Dane County.
