350 Madison: Climate change hurting local farmers

350 Madison is holding a teach-in at the Dane County Farmers’ Market on May 5 about climate change hurting farmers’ business.

The group will be in front of the Madison Children’s Museum starting at 9:30 a.m. to talk about climate change and unpredictable growing seasons, while explaining the importance of eating locally to reduce Dane County’s carbon footprint.

350 Madison said climate change is not a future problem, it’s happening right now.

On May 5, thousands of communities around the world will unite to take urgent action to aid the climate crisis.
