34-year-old killed in Sauk County crash
Officials believe icy roads, dense fog were factors in crash
TOWN OF BEAR CREEK, Wis. — A 34-year-old Hillpoint man died in a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Sauk County, according to a news release.
Around 7:20 a.m. Sauk County officials responded to a single-vehicle crash on County Road G at McCarville Road in the town of Bear Creek, authorities said.
The 34-year-old, identified as Boris Rubio, was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said.
Investigators said Rubio was driving north on County Road G when he left the roadway and rolled his vehicle several times.
Icy roads and dense fog are believed to be contributing factors, according to the release. Rubio was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
