3 residences in west side neighborhood burglarized, police say
MADISON, Wis. — Three residences were burglarized in the same west Madison neighborhood over the weekend, according to a release.
A resident in the 4500 block of Mineral Point Road arrived home Sunday after being away for the night, and found his home had been burglarized, police said.
Someone forced open a door to the garage and a door between the garage and the house, according to the release. Money and electronics were stolen.
Other burglaries were reported on Parklawn Place and Charles Lane, police said.
The police department’s Burglary Crime Unit is investigating to see if the cases are connected.
