3 new retailers coming to West Towne
MADISON, Wis. — A new store opened this month at a west Madison mall and two other new retailers will open in the spring, according to a news release.
Torrid and Good Eats Subs are scheduled to open at the West Towne Mall this spring, and Barbara Originals opened in early February.
CBL & Associates Properties Inc., which also owns and operates the East Towne Mall in Madison plus five other shopping centers in the state, said Tuesday that a new art store, Barbara Originals, opened in early February and showcases the works of art by local artist Barbara Scharpf. Scharpf creates palette knife paintings. The store also offers functional decor including handmade pillows, jewelry boxes and photo frames.
Torrid, a trendy plus-size clothier for women, offers designs for fit young, stylish women in sizes 10 to 30. Torrid is scheduled to open late March in a 3,050-square-foot store near Express.
Good Eats Subs is scheduled to open this spring in an 853-square-foot food court unit. The quick-service restaurant will offer sandwiches, soups, salads and ice cream.
Barbara Originals is located near New York & Co.
West Towne Mall is an 828,602-square-foot shopping center that houses Boston Store, Dick’s Sporting Goods, JCPenney, Sears, a 540-seat food court, along with Madison-area exclusives like Apple Store, Apricot Lane, Athleta, Aveda, The Cheesecake Factory, Dry Goods and more.
