3 men rob family in home invasion, police say
Robbers, armed with pistols, demand cash from resident
MADISON, Wis. — Police said three men robbed an east Madison family in a home invasion Friday night, police said.
Madison police said officers responded to a report of a robbery at a home on the 3400 block of Richard Street at about 11 p.m.
Four adult residents told police that three men were allowed in the home but the men immediately targeted two of the residents to rob in their bedroom, police said.
The robbers, each armed with a gun, demanded cash from the two and left the home, according to the report.
One robber was described as white, in his mid-20s and armed with a pistol. A second robber was described as white, in his mid-20s, 5 feet 7 inches tall with a stocky build and armed with a pistol. The third robber was described as black, in his mid-20s, 6 feet tall with a thin build and armed with a pistol.
Officers said the two people who were robbed appeared to have been targeted.
