2nd loaded gun found on man whose gun fell out of pocket at bar, police say
REEDSBURG, Wis. — A Reedsburg man was arrested Sunday night after a handgun fell out of his pocket at a local tavern, police said.
Reedsburg police responded to a tavern in the 100 block of South Walnut Street for a report of an armed and intoxicated man.
Police said officers confronted and searched 22-year-old Gunnar G. Tempest and found a loaded .38 caliber revolver and a loaded .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun. Police said Tempest appeared to be intoxicated.
He was taken into custody without incident.
Tempest was held on violation of a harassment injunction that prohibited him from possessing a firearm as a repeater, possession of a firearm while intoxicated as a repeater, carrying a concealed weapon as a repeater and obstructing an officer as a repeater, according to the report.
He was taken to the Sauk County Jail.
