20-person fight breaks out at Madison bar
MADISON, Wis. — Police responded to a fight that involved around 20 people at an east Madison bar.
The incident occurred at 1:35 a.m. Sunday 701 East Washington Avenue.
Bouncers were having difficulties with multiple people fighting in the bar as the number of people involved grew, police said.
A glass door was broken and police say it appeared to be damaged on purpose, officials said.
A 27-year-old man who damaged the door was cited. A second 27-year-old man was cited on suspicion of disorderly conduct for instigating the fight, police said.
