2 sex offenders arrested for violating restrictions during Halloween checks
JANESVILLE, Wis. — Two registered sex offenders were arrested Tuesday night for violating conditions of their probation, according to the Janesville Police Department.
The Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole Office and the Janesville Police Department conducted Halloween checks Tuesday night of registered sex offenders on probation.
Registered sex offenders are not allowed to have any Halloween decorations inside or outside their home. They are not allowed to hand out candy or participate in trick or treat activities. They are not allowed to wear a Halloween costume. And they cannot turn their porch light on during trick or treating hours.
Officers in Janesville visited 37 homes. David C. Anderson, 67, and Jesse R. McIntrye, 24, were arrested for violating their probation terms, officials said.
Anderson lives in the 1700 block of Hoover Street and McIntyre lives in the 4500 block of West Rotamer Road.
