2 men robbed after agreeing to go drinking with strangers
MADISON, Wis. — Two Madison man were robbed after agreeing to go drinking with two strangers Saturday night, according to police.
The victims, age 23 and 24, told police they met the strangers near Hilldale Mall, got into a white SUV with the men and drove to the 4300 block of Doncaster Drive. They said several more men came out of an apartment and one was armed with a knife.
The robbers got cash, a credit card and a cellphone from the victims, according to police.
One of the robbers is described as white, in his late 50s to early 60s with a thin build, long gray beard and wearing a red sweater.
The other man is described as white, in his 30s to 40s, 5 foot 11 inches tall, with a thin build and short blond hair.
