2 Men In Custody After Gunshots Fired At Car

Two men face first-degree reckless endangering safety charges after firing five to seven rounds of ammunition at a vehicle traveling on Madison’s far West Side early Saturday morning, according to the Madison Police Department.

Police said the men, Jose A. Collazo, 55, and Giovanni A. Collazo-Santiago, 28, followed the victim from Deerfield to Madison.

The shots were fired in the vicinity of Gammon Road and Watts Road, police said.

The victim wasn’t injured, police said.

Collazo and Collazo-Santiago were taken into custody by Dane County sheriff’s deputies as they were returning to Deerfield, police said.
