2 teenagers killed when semi hits car head-on in Columbia County

PARDEEVILLE, Wis. — Two teenagers are dead following a crash involving a semi truck in Columbia County.

According to a release from the Wisconsin State Patrol, it happened on Wisconsin Highway 33 near Polinske Road near Pardeeville.

Just after 7 p.m. emergency crews responded to a report of a crash on the highway involving a semi truck and a 2009 Pontiac G6.

Two teenagers from Sheboygan were in the Pontiac. The 17-year-old male driver and his 15-year-old male passenger were killed.

A preliminary investigation from the Wisconsin State Patrol determined one of the vehicles was traveling in the wrong direction and hit the other one head-on.

Investigators have not determined which vehicle was in the wrong lane.
