The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office said two people were injured in a crash between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck.

It happened around 7:13 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Highway 28, 67/175 South and Highway 28 South in the town of Theresa.

The grain-filled semi was traveling westbound on Highway 28 south when it entered the intersection to make a left turn at a stop sign. The pickup truck was traveling northbound on Highway 28, 67/175 South, which is uncontrolled.

The driver of the tractor-trailer is a 48-year-old man from Theresa. He was treated and released from the hospital for minor injuries.

The pickup truck driver is a 56-year-old man from Fon du Lac. He was flown to a trauma center with serious, but likely non life-threatening injuries, Sheriff Dale Schmidt said.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
