2 injured in rollover, crash into tree
Driver, passenger cited
TOWN OF SYLVESTER, Wis. — A man and woman from Monroe were injured when their vehicle rolled over and struck a tree early Thursday morning.
Green County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the W2700 block of County Road SS in the town of Sylvester at 5:53 a.m. for a report of a single-vehicle crash with injuries.
Investigators said the vehicle driven by Edward Lee Heeder, 27, was traveling east and negotiating a curve when he lost control and drove into the north shoulder. The vehicle rolled and struck a tree, coming to rest on the passenger side against the tree.
Deputies said Heeder and his passenger, Odessa Ann Hudson, 28, were pinned. They were taken to Monroe Clinic for treatment. Neither was wearing seat belts, according to a report.
Heeder will be cited for going too fast for conditions and failure to wear a seat belt. Hudson will be cited for failure to wear a seat belt.
