2 Injured In Juneau County Crash

Two people were injured in a Juneau County crash early Wednesday.

The Wisconsin State Patrol said a vehicle was traveling westbound on Interstate 90/94 near Camp Douglas just after 4 a.m. when the driver swerved to avoid an animal in the road. The vehicle rolled several times before coming to a stop in the median.

Officials said the driver, a 51-year-old woman from Brooklyn Center, Minn., was taken to Tomah Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A 56-year-old passenger was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to a release from the State Patrol.
