Two people awakened Friday morning to find a burglar in their home, police said.

Mt. Horeb police said someone entered a home at about 6:30 a.m. on the north side of the village while the occupants slept.

Police said the two adults in the house confronted the burglar, and the burglar left.

No one was injured, but some cash was taken.

With the help of Oregon police, a K-9 was used to attempt to track the burglar, but the track was unsuccessful, officials said.

Police said there wasn’t forced entry to the home. It wasn’t clear if the home was targeted, police said.
