2 dogs shot near state line, officials say
1 dog dies as result of incident Monday night
TOWN OF WALWORTH, Wis. — The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for information in the shooting of two dogs near the Wisconsin-Illinois state line, according to a release.
The incident happened Monday between 10:30 and 10:45 p.m. in the town of Walworth, officials said. The dogs were shot by what appears to be a .22-caliber weapon.
One of the dogs was a bullmastiff and the other was a German shepard and Rottweiler mix, according to the release. One of the dogs died as a result of the incident.
