2 arrested in connection with stolen vehicle in Dodgeville

CITY OF DODGEVILLE, Wis. — Two people were arrested Tuesday in connection with a stolen vehicle in the City of Dodgeville.

According to a news release from the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department, Iowa County Dispatch received a report of a vehicle that had been stolen from an address on East Chapel Street in Dodgeville shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Officials said Wesley Phetteplace, 30, of Boscobel, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of felony bail jumping and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping after the vehicle was reported stolen.

The release said officers found the stolen vehicle at an address on East Chapel Street in Dodgeville shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said Andrea Faulkner, 38, of Prairie Du Chien, was arrested on suspicion of take and drive vehicle without owner’s consent and misdemeanor bail jumping as a result.

Both were taken to the Iowa County Jail, booked on their charges and remain pending a bond hearing.
