BEAVER DAM, Wis. — A 17-year-old Jackson resident was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash Saturday night, according to a release from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department.
The teen was identified Monday as Lucas W. Gromowski.
Around 8:50 p.m. Dodge County officials were notified of a single-vehicle rollover crash at the intersection of county roads A and E in the town of Beaver Dam, officials said.
A 17-year-old from West Bend was driving a 2008 Honda east on County Road E when they failed to negotiate the S curve at the intersection with County Road A, investigators said.
The vehicle went into the south gravel shoulder of County Road E, went airborne, landed in the northbound lane of County Road A, went airborne again and rolled over, according to the release. Gromowski was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Aaron M. Mindel, 17, of West Bend, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
