15-year-old student apprehended after possibly making threats, officials said
EDGERTON, Wis. — A 15-year-old student was apprehended by police Thursday afternoon, according to officials.
Edgerton police responded to a report that there may be an agitated student who possibly made threats at 2:30 p.m., according to a release from the Edgerton Police Department.
The student was at the high school, but ran toward the elementary school when he saw officers. The high school and the elementary school were immediately placed on lockdown, officials said.
Officers apprehended the boy and removed him from school grounds without incident. The lockdown at the school lasted about 15 minutes and the schools dismissed on schedule, according to the release.
Charges for the boy are possible, pending further investigation, police said.
