14-year-old accused of beating, robbing teen, police say

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police said a 17-year-old boy suffered head and facial injuries after another teen attacked him during a robbery.

Officers were sent to Linda Vista Road around 12:20 p.m.Thursday, according to a release by the Madison Police Department. This is near La Follette High School.

Police said the victim was punched several times, knocked to the ground and kicked by a 14-year-old acquaintance.

The 14-year-old was arrested for robbery with use of force, battery, and disorderly conduct, the release said.

He was taken to the Juvenile Reception Center.
