1 killed, 1 injured in Interstate 90 rollover crash

MADISON, Wis. — One person was killed and another injured after being ejected from a vehicle on Interstate 90 in Columbia County early Saturday morning, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
Authorities said the driver fell asleep while traveling westbound near Portage and lost control. The vehicle rolled on the shoulder of the highway causing two passengers to be ejected, authorities said.
The incident occurred at about 2:15 a.m.
The injured passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
Neither of the ejected passengers were wearing seat belts.
