You know, I sat in front of that camera for nearly 24 years at WISC-TV .... and most of the time it's impossible to get a sense of how you feel about my work. I'm almost embarrassed by all the warm words you've written.

It's been a pleasure and honor serving you for all these years on WISC-TV. There have been so many technological improvements in news gathering over the years but the one the one that stands out is working for Channel 3000. During my trip to Baghdad in January of 2004 I was able to use the internet and instantly connect friends and family with their loved ones serving in Iraq. Thanks to our Managing Editor Molly Thompson for making that happen.

I've enjoyed a wonderful career and life enriching experience here and I thank my co-workers for their hard work. After all, I'm just the guy who reads it! All your kind words are a reflection of their commitment to news gathering. They'll remain hard at work and I hope you'll continue to place your trust in their judgements.
