News Producer: WISC-TV is currently looking for a Morning Show Producer to help lead our 2-hour morning news show. The ideal candidate will work with another producer to blend hard news and feature segments into a compelling broadcast. Specific duties include selecting stories and placing them within the newscast; writing stories; scheduling special guests and event segments; planning future segments; editing and posting content to our website; leading Production staff with technical presentation of the newscast; dispatching crews during breaking news situations. We need a creative thinker who can blend local and national and international news with interesting guest segments and unique live remotes. Prefer applicants with 2 years experience and college degree. Candidate must be willing to handle unique work schedule of 11:30pm-7:30am.
