THIS AFTERNOON:
Mostly cloudy with occasional snow; total daytime accumulations of 2-6" possible. Turning windy with blowing and drifting snow.
High: 26 (temperatures nearly steady in the middle 20s)
Wind: N/NE increasing to 15-25 MPH

Mostly cloudy, windy, and colder with snow tapering to flurries; another 1" or so of accumulation is possible in the evening. Total storm accumulation of 5-10" is expected through tonight (heaviest amounts east and southeast of Madison; lightest amounts toward Wisconsin Dells).
