MADISON

-Snow emergency in effect. Alternate side parking restrictions will be in effect throughout the entire City of Madison including the downtown/isthmus snow emergency zone.

-Madison Metro: Information will be distributed via email/text messages about the status of the service. Information will also posted at mymetrobus.com, recorded information will be available at (608) 266-4466, and updates distributed to local media at approximately the same time.

-City of Madison offices and facilities will delay opening until 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21. The opening is delayed to allow both staff and residents the opportunity to travel safely.

-Trash and recycling collection: City crews suspended trash collection for Thursday collection areas after crews had difficulty due to road conditions. Sections of the Thursday area that were not serviced will be included in the Friday pick up.

-Dane County will close non-essential services and the Dane County Courthouse on Friday, Dec. 21. Normal county operations will resume after the Christmas Eve and Christmas holidays on Wednesday, Dec. 26.

-Public Heath-Madison and Dane County reports that all of its offices and clinics will be closed Friday, Dec. 21 due to continuing extreme weather conditions. 

-Home Health United - Meals on Wheels closed Friday. The noon meal will not be delivered.

-John Deere Financial office on Excelsior Drive in Madison will delay opening until 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 21.

-Meriter Medical Group clinics will be closed Friday, Dec. 21. Meriter Hospital services and the Emergency Department remain open.

-Madison College -- All Madison College campuses will be closed Friday, Dec. 21.

-Prometric Testing Center closed Friday.

-Red Cross blood drives are canceled, including events at Hill Farm State Transportation Building, Madison East and West Donation Centers.

The Freedom from Religion Foundation's solstice celebration Friday is canceled.

BARABOO

-Exams at UW-Baraboo scheduled for 8 a.m. are postponed until Saturday. Exams scheduled for 10 a.m. or later will continue as scheduled.

BELOIT

-The City of Beloit has declared a snow emergency from 3 p.m. on Thursday through 3 p.m. on Friday. Also, due to construction downtown, the 400 block of East Grand will be temporarily posted as a one-way street for westbound traffic. When the snow can be removed, eastbound traffic will be restored. During the entirety of the snow emergency declaration, the parking or standing of any vehicle on a City street is prohibited.

CAMBRIDGE

-The Red Cross blood drive planned at Cambridge High School is canceled.

COLUMBUS

-Braids N' Britches Daycare closed Friday.

COTTAGE GROVE

-The Village of Cottage Grove has issued a snow emergency, effective at 12 a.m. on Thursday, through noon on Friday. Per Village ordinance, parking on Village streets is prohibited until the snow emergency ends at noon on Friday.

EVANSVILLE

-The Evansville Golf Club will be closed for Friday night fish fry.

FITCHBURG

-Woods Hollow Children's Center in Fitchburg will be closed on Friday, Dec. 21.

JUNEAU

-All Dodge County senior dining meals and transportation services are closed for Friday.

MARSHALL

-The Village of Marshall declared a Snow Emergency in effect starting from 12 a.m. Thursday, until 12 a.m. Saturday. When a snow emergency has been declared, no street parking is allowed on any village streets during the 48 hour declaration or until it has been canceled. Vehicles parked on the street in violation of this ordinance can be ticketed with a $30 fine and may be towed.

MCFARLAND

-Snow emergency declared from 11 p.m. Wednesday until 11 p.m. Friday.

MONONA

-The City of Monona has declared a snow emergency from midnight Wednesday, Dec. 19 until noon on Friday, Dec. 21. During a General Snow Emergency no parking is allowed on any street during the designated period. Any vehicles on the street may be ticketed and towed.

OREGON

-Snow emergency declared from 10 p.m. Wednesday until 10 a.m. Saturday.

PLATTEVILLE

-Platteville Senior Center and Meal Site will be closed Friday.

TOWN OF PLEASANT SPRINGS

-Snow emergency declared. No parking on town roads until Sunday at 8 a.m.

PORTAGE

-Snow emergency declared. No parking starting at 2 a.m. Thursday on snow routes. No parking starting at 4 a.m. on all other streets except the Central Business District. No parking in the Central Business District starting at 10 a.m. The snow emergency remains in effect for 48 hours or until it's canceled.

-TriEnda/Lexington Logistics closed after 1 p.m. Thursday. Work resumes Friday at noon.

PRAIRIE DU CHIEN

-Snow emergency effective 9 p.m. Wednesday until 6 p.m. Thursday. Motorists must not park on city streets.

RIO

-Braids N' Britches Daycare closed Friday.

SHOREWOOD HILLS

-Village of Shorewood Hills has declared a snow emergency.  No vehicles, trailers, etc. shall be parked on Village roadways from 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19 until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21. Any vehicle, trailer, etc. on the roadway between these hours is subject to citation and/or towing.

STOUGHTON

-The City of Stoughton has declared a Snow Emergency. It goes into effect at midnight to 8 a.m. remains in effect until three consecutive midnight to 8 a.m. periods have elapsed, or the emergency is canceled or extended. Parking will be even/odd.

SUN PRAIRIE

-Snow emergency effective 12:01 a.m. Thursday through 7 a.m. Friday. A Snow Emergency means that there is no parking on any City street until the Snow Emergency has been canceled. Vehicles parked on the street in violation of this ordinance can be ticketed ($50 fine) and may be towed.

VERONA

-Norland Reading and Learning Center is closed Friday.

WAUNAKEE

-Uniek Inc. manufacturing will be closed from 5 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Friday.

TOWN OF WINDSOR

-Snow emergency declared. No parking on city streets from noon Thursday until 5 p.m. Friday.

WYOCENA

-Columbia Health Care Center: Resident holiday parties postponed to Friday at 2:30 p.m. Open house postponed to Dec. 27 from 4 p.m to 6 p.m.
