THIENSVILLE, Wis. -

A number of Wisconsin rivers are at or above flooding stages but they're expected to fall in the next few days before more rain arrives Sunday.

Rudy Schaar is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service. He said there's been flooding on the Sheboygan River, the lower Fox River in New Muenster and the Baraboo River at Rock Springs.

But he said the Sheboygan River has been falling and the other rivers have nearly topped out. He said things should settle down in the next few days before rising again during predicted rainstorms Sunday.

Lori Getter of Wisconsin Emergency Management said there have been scattered reports of flooded basements.

The Milwaukee River is high in Thiensville, where the Department of Public Works is distributing sand and sandbags.
