Temperatures have soared across southern Wisconsin today, and tonight's temperatures will be mild as well. Skies will become mostly cloudy tonight as low pressure builds in from the west. Rain will develop toward daybreak Tuesday, and may be mixed with sleet and snow initially. Overnight lows will fall into the middle 30s. The mix of precipitation will change to rain on Tuesday before mixing with sleet and snow again late in the day. Highs will reach the upper 30s, but temperatures will hold steady or fall late in the day. Any lingering mix of precipitation will change to light snow or flurries Tuesday night with temperatures falling to around 20 degrees.
The back side of the low pressure system will bring windy and cold conditions to southern Wisconsin on Wednesday, along with some instability flurries. Highs on Wednesday will only reach the middle 20s. Thursday and Friday will be rather quiet with partly sunny skies. Temperatures will reach the upper 30s on Thursday and the middle 40s on Friday.
High temperatures will return to the 30s this weekend with a chance for light snow late Saturday night or Sunday. Temperatures will remain cool into early next week with some sun on Monday, but highs only reaching the lower 30s.
