Monday morning will begin with very mild temperatures. We'll start in the middle to upper 30s with mostly cloudy skies. Skies will become partly sunny and it will be pleasant with highs near 50 degrees. The last time we hit 50 degrees was on December 4th, 2013.
A wave of low pressure will slide through the Midwest on Tuesday, bringing a mix of rain, sleet, and snow to southern Wisconsin. An early morning mix of precipitation will change to rain by mid-morning, before changing back to snow in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 30s. The back side of that system may bring some instability flurries to the area on Wednesday. Wednesday will be much colder with highs in the upper 20s.
Thursday and Friday will be rather quiet with partly sunny skies. Temperatures will reach the upper 30s on Thursday and the middle 40s on Friday.
High temperatures will return to the 30s next weekend with a chance of snow showers on Saturday night.
