  • expect snow to develop around 3 am Tuesday and then diminish around 1 PM Tuesday. A wintry mix of snow...sleet and freezing rain is possible across parts of northeast Iowa into far southwest Wisconsin.
  • The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between 6 am and noon Tuesday.
  • Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are expected...with the heavier amounts along and north of Highway 29 across north central Wisconsin.
  • Winds gusting from 30 to 40 mph later Tuesday afternoon and early Tuesday evening will cause widespread blowing and drifting snow...especially in higher country areas and on ridge tops. Visibilities could drop to one mile or less at times.
