  • moderate to heavy snow has developed and will track to the east through the morning. A change over to freezing drizzle is possible between 8 am and 11 am with a diminishing trend around noon.
  • Expect total snow accumulations of around a 1/2 inch along the Mississippi River to up to 2 inches over north central Wisconsin. This snow will fall over a 2 to 4 hour period and will reduce visibility to a half mile or less at times.
  • Freezing drizzle could lead to a glaze of ice developing... particularly on any untreated surfaces.
