  • ...Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 6 PM CST this evening...
  • timing...occasional snow showers continuing into early evening. Steadier light snow at times will be confined to along the Wisconsin border.
  • Snow accumulations...most accumulating snow has ended...however an additional dusting to locally one inch of snow is possible...especially near the Wisconsin border.
  • Winds...west winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts nearing 40 mph.
  • Impact...untreated roads are likely snow or slush covered in parts of the area...resulting in difficult travel. Any heavier snow showers in addition to blowing snow due to the strong west west winds will also cause reduced visibilities...especially on north south roadways. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and blowing snow. Use caution when traveling...especially in open areas.
