DOT Reopens Rimrock Ramp To Beltline
Ramp Was Closed Over Safety Concerns

MADISON, Wis. -- The ramp from Rimrock Road to the westbound Beltline has been reopened.As drivers tried to merge from Rimrock Road to the westbound Beltline, they were left with no room to merge due to a construction project. The state Department of Transportation shut down the ramp over safety concerns.The DOT finished some of its construction improvements at the ramp on Aug. 30.There's still construction around the area and the ramp will again be closed on Sept. 12 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.The ramp had been closed completely to the westbound Beltline since Aug. 19.
