Web Site Wants To Boost Your Brain Power

Games, Diet, Supplements Can Aid Memory

It doesn't take an acute injury or chronic disease to sap your brain of its ability to think deftly. Time can wear it down.

A new site called BrainPower.org says that it can increase your ability to think with exercises and advice on a head-healthy diet.

"Brain food is anything that contains nutrients that help the brain," content producer Brian Park explained. "It can be anything from wild salmon to acai berries. The human brain requires specific nutrients and healthy fats to give it the energy necessary to perform properly."

The site also evaluates supplements that claim to boost your brain, and most stories feature tips on what supplements to choose.

While articles encourage playing games to improve your memory and strategic thinking and suggests finding quick versions online, it does not appear to feature games themselves.
