Many shoppers at Circuit City have been looking for the best way to watch the NFC Championship game this weekend, WISC-TV reported.

"You got to do a lot of browsing, lots of shopping," said shopper Jared Voves.

Voves did the research and is now price shopping for an LCD television. He said the timing is just a bonus.

"Now, the Packer parties are definitely going to be at my house now that I've got the nice TV," Voves said.

"Televisions that people have been coming in for (are) large flat-panel TVs," said James Oldenburg, Circuit City store director.

For two weeks, he said there has been a steady flow of shoppers wandering through Circuit City's entertainment section.

"A lot of people are coming in specifically for that reason, to see what the NFC Championship is going to look like. And when the Packers make it to the Super Bowl, they want to see what that looks like as well," Oldenburg said.

Circuit City is expecting more sales leading up to game time and not many post-game returns.

"You can't just get it for the game and fall in love with it and then want to take it back. It's too hard to get rid of," Voves said.

Win or lose, Voves said he is looking forward to watching the Packers in the comfort of his home.

"Now that these good games are coming up for next season and stuff, I definitely want something great to watch it on,” he said.

Circuit City has a 30-day return policy. Workers said that if people want to return a recently purchased TV, they need to make sure they have the receipt and original packaging it came with. It also must be in the same condition as when it was sold.

Some stores also charge restocking fees for any open-product returns.
