Andy Choi anchors the weekend newscasts for WISC-TV, in addition to reporting during the weekday. Prior to anchoring, Andy was also WISC's Rock County bureau reporter. He's been with News 3 since November of 2005.

"I love this job," said Andy. "You get to meet some amazing people."

Andy dreamt of being a variety of things as a child (astronaut, scientist, ninja turtle), but it was hard finding something he was good at. But a comment on one of Andy's grade-school report cards seemed to foreshadow a distant future.

"Andy's inability to concentrate on classroom work may be due to his constant socializing," wrote his teacher, "I hope he begins to concentrate on his own life without being so heavily focused on the lives of others."

Prior to joining WISC-TV, Andy worked as a reporter for KOMU-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Mo. He grew up near Chicago, where his family still lives today.

Andy graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in broadcast from the University of Missouri's School of Journalism.

When he's not working, Andy enjoys spending time with family and close friends.
