20th Annual Koats For Kids Under Way
School Contest Deadline: Oct. 6
Now through Oct. 6, WISC-TV3, Z104, Klinke Cleaners and the Community Action Coalition join forces for the 20th annual KOATS FOR KIDS campaign! Please consider donating your gently-worn winter outerwear (coats, snowpants, snowsuits, hats, mittens, scarves) to residents-in-need throughout the area. When you drop off your donations at any area Klinke Cleaners, they'll be cleaned for free, then turned over to the Community Action Coalition for distribution in late October. HEY STUDENTS, WANT TO GET INVOLVED?
Then take part in our KOATS FOR KIDS "Collect-A-Coat Contest!" The rules are few and simple: Only winter coats will be accepted. Coats must be in wearable condition. Donations must be received at Klinke Cleaners by the October 6th deadline.Organization of a collection drive is totally up to your school. Some schools compete between classes, some compete between grades, and some don't compete at all! Just get your donations in to Klinke Cleaners by October 6th, along with an official KOATS FOR KIDS collection form which you can download by visiting www.klinkecleaners.com.
