  • Q: What is your favorite part about living in Madison?
    A: Fall and Spring, and the people.

    Q: What is the biggest news story that you've covered?
    A: Part of the team coverage of Lake Delton Draining and GM Janesville plant closure.

    Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?
    A: Getting to know Madison along with my mom, reading, going on picnics, movies.

    Q: What is your family life like? Significant other, married, children?
    A: Single

    Q: What is your favorite kind of ice cream?
    A: Vanilla ice cream with coconut, chocolate and peanut butter chips. Yummy!

    Q: What is the funniest thing that’s ever happened to you?
    A: I was in cheerleading class my junior year and we were jogging around the basketball court when I tripped and slid five feet down the court like a seal in front of everyone. Oh, the embarrassment…

    Q: What is your favorite place to vacation?
    A: Going home is always a vacation. I love Texas!

    Q: Who is your hero and why?
    A: My mom because she has made a lot of sacrifices in order to give me a better life. She is truly my best friend.

    Q: What was your favorite band when you were in high school?
    A: Pat Green, Texas country artist.

    Q: What is your favorite sport to play or watch?
    A: LSU Football, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros, Nascar (actually just #9 Kasey Kahne).

    Q: If you could possess one superhuman power, what would it be?
    A: Becoming invisible so I can see what’s really going on behind closed doors.

    Q: What are you really bad at that you’d love to be great at?
    A: Playing the piano

    Q: What is your most memorable travel experience?
    A: My visit to Chicago

    Q: What is the worst job you have ever had?
    A: None really. Other than a stint at Old Navy, I’ve only worked in TV.

    A: This is a new one since moving up here: Cutting down a real Christmas tree!

    A: For One More Day by Mitch Albom and The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch

    A: Don’t worry about anything. Instead, pray about everything. Philippians 4:6

    Q: If you could relive any moment, what would that be?
    A: The day I graduated from LSU or the day I became a naturalized U.S. Citizen in 2004.

    Q: Where were you when Sept. 11, 2001 occurred?
    A: I was sitting in my English class my junior year of high school. I asked my teacher to turn on the TV, and my class and I watched the tragedy unfold.
