GRAND CHUTE, Wis. -

The Lodi Blue Devils are the state division 2 baseball champs following a big win Thursday in Grand Chute.

The Blue Devils made all the right calls, including a squeeze play, to win 6-2 over Green Bay Notre Dame.

Donnie Manke got the game-winning RBI in the top of the fifth. He hit a ball into the gap, scoring Chance Browning and Fred Manke to give Lodi a 4-2 lead.

Manke then scored later in the inning after Kyle Clapper laid down a perfect squeeze bunt.

This is Lodi's first WIAA baseball championship since the WIAA started keeping records for spring baseball in 1948.
