OREGON, Wis. -

In a low scoring affair that resembled a wrestling match more than a basketball game, Stoughton held off Badger South Conference rival Oregon 31-29.

Oregon struck first when Jonathan Conduah slashed to the rim to score two of his game high 10 points. The Panthers still trailed 7-4 after the first quarter and 15-10 at halftime.

In the third quarter, Stoughton finally got hot. Nick McGlynn hit back-to-back buckets and the Vikings went on a 8-2 run to take an 11 point lead. From there, Oregon finished the game on a 17-8 run, but the Panthers ran out of time. Stoughton won 31-29.
