GRAND CHUTE, Wis. -

The Sun Prairie High School had won 25 straight games going into their WIAA Division 1 state championship game against Bay Port in Grand Chute on Thursday night.

The Cardinals weren't going to let Bay Port stop them from getting win No. 26. Sun Prairie crushed Bay Port 13-1 in 5 innings to get their sixth WIAA baseball championship.

The Cardinals scored in every inning, including five runs in the fourth, to secure the victory. Anthony Butler gave up one run and four hits over five innings to get the win for the Cardinals.

Zach Fairchild and Coyt Mayr each got three RBIs to power the Cardinals, who finish the season 31-1 overall.
