Verona's Jessica Reinecke won the Division One individual title and Madison Edgewood won another team Division Two championship at the WIAA State Girls Golf Championship at Cherokee Country Club Tuesday..

Reinecke followed her opening round of 77 with a two-under par 70 in the final round to win the title over Waukesha's Emily Joers by two shots.

Homestead won the Division One team title by 11 shots over Kettle Moraine. Milton was fourth, Middleton tied for sixth, Madison Memorial was 10th.

Madison Edgewood won the Division Two team championship, but not without controversy.

The Crusaders appeared to have a one-shot win, but The Prairie School, which finished second, protested a penalty assessed by one of its players over the wind blowing a ball on a players address. The protest was denied and Edgewood was given the one-shot win.

Osceola's Casey Danielson won her fourth Division Two individual championship with a two-day total of 139 (66-73). She joins her sister, Lindsey, as the only players in WIAA history to win four individual championships.
