Randolph, WI -

The Randolph Rockets are at it again. They are headed back to the Kohl Center this weekend, trying to earn their record 10th Boys Basketball State Championship.

This year hasn't come easy for the Rockets.

They lost their regular season finale to Pardeeville, snapping a 175 game conference winning streak. Doubts crept into the minds of the Rockets faithful, but not into those on the court.

Senior Jay Peters says, "Our conference streak ending was a good thing, because it took a big weight off our shoulders."

Since the loss, the Rockets have dominated, rolling through the tournament with an average margin of victory of more than 16 points per game.

Now, this years Rockets, who watched all those great Randolph teams of the past win State, get their chance to cut down the Kohl Center nets.

"I want to end my senior year right and make sure we're in the right place in that last game." said senior Aaron Retzlaff said.

Randolph and Elmwood tip-off the Division Five State Semifinals Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the Kohl center.
