GRAND CHUTE, Wis. -

Players from Parkview High School in Orfordville wanted to win the state Division 3 baseball title in their first trip to the WIAA championships.

But the team lost 4-3 in extra innings against Prescott in a heartbreaker in Grand Chute on Thursday.

Parkview gave Prescott an early 1-0 lead, but made a big comeback in the sixth inning.  Elliott Olsen tied the game with a single to center field, scoring Jarrett Warden. Then, Brendan Neal added to the lead with a single to center.

But Prescott came back in the bottom of the sixth, scoring their tying run after the umpire called a balk on Parkview pitcher Trevor Aasen.

They went to extra innings, where Prescott's Clay Seifert got the game-winning-RBI in the eighth inning.

Parkview finished the season at 22-8.
