The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association state boys team tennis tournament started at Nielsen Tennis Stadium on Friday afternoon.

In the Division 1 quarterfinal action Friday afternoon, Middleton High School’s team faced off with five-time defending champion Milwaukee Marquette.

The Marquette Hilltoppers won the match 7-0.

Madison Edgewood plays in Division 2 on Saturday.

The semifinals in both Divisions 1 and 2 are at 9 a.m. Saturday with the championship matches beginning at 2 p.m.
