The Lodi High School baseball team bested McFarland on Friday afternoon at the ballpark in Dane.

In the bottom of the first, Lodi's Bryce Ziegler drove the ball to center field. Matt Byars scored, making the score 2-0 with Lodi in the lead.

By the third inning, Lodi was up, 5-0. Derrick Rothwell added to the lead with an RBI single to make it 6-0 in favor of the Blue Devils.

In the bottom of the sixth, Lodi effectively closed the door after Byars hits the ball into right field for an RBI single that made it 9-1.

The Blue Devils tacked on one more run in the inning to clinch the victory at 10-1.
