Madison Edgewood nearly blew an 11-point fourth quarter lead before escaping with a 48-45 win at Monona Grove in boys basketball Monday night.
The game was rescheduled from December 21st because of the big snowstorm that hit that week.
Connor McGinnis made two free throws with nine seconds left to give Edgewood a 48-45 lead.
In the final six seconds, MG's Mark Nelson had two shots to tie the game from three point range, but both missed.
The final shot was deflected by McGinnis to preserve the win..
Both Edgewood and Monona Grove are now 3-2 in the Badger South conference, one game behind first place Monroe.
