Waunakee and DeForest both pulled off surprise wins on Thursday to advance to the next round of the WIAA boys baseball tournament.
Jared Blied hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning to beat Holmen, 7-6.
Holmen had already won 22 games this season, and was the top-ranked team in the Sauk Prairie sectional going into Thursday's game.
Jaren Hilliard-Kendall and Taylor Kowley also hit two-run homers in the game.
Meanwhile, Waunakee's Tyler Lyght got the game winning RBI against Lacrosse Central to help give Waunakee an 8-6 victory.
Both teams were tied at 4 when Lyght got a bloop single to give Waunakee the lead. Lyght then got another hit in extra innings to give Waunakee the lead for good.
